Easter | April 9
6:45 am Outdoor Sunrise Service (In-person only)
The Sunrise Service is an informal time to gather and celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. We will gather around the Columbarium behind the sanctuary along Orkney Road. We will sing a couple songs accompanied by guitar, hear the Easter story, and share our hopes for the new day. The service will be about 30 minutes.
9:00 and 11:00 am am Worship Services
Worship at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. with an Easter Egg Hunt and Animals from Woodberry Crossing between the services: Both services will sing Easter hymns and celebrate the resurrection of Christ with prayer, scripture, and proclamation. Between the services we will have animals from Woodberry Crossing and the famous Govans Easter Egg Hunt.
10:00 am Easter Egg Hunt and Petting Zoo
Search for Easter eggs and enjoy some in-person fun for all ages on the front lawn of the church with animals (rabbits and chicks and goats, oh my!) brought to you by Woodberry Crossing.

11:00 am Worship Service
At the 11:00 am Service, the choir and organ will lead us in the Easter Hymns. Pastor Tom will preach on John’s version of the Easter Story. We will have gifts for the children and will rejoice together in the Resurrection of Christ.
All worship services except the Sunrise Service will be in-person and broadcast on Facebook and Zoom. Please email email us at wilson@govanspres.org for a Zoom link.
