Fellowship Time After Worship

Wednesday Evening Bible Study We will begin on September 9 and meet at 6:00pm for a potluck dinner and meet until 8:00 PM at the church in the Waverly Room. All are welcome to join. We will start in September by reading through the Racial Justice book “Reckoning With History” by William Yoo, so we can participate in the Racial Justice Book discussion on September 30. Dismantling Racism Training
Govans continues its efforts to grow in its journey toward being an anti-racist congregation. Sign up to join Govans session members and session/congregants from our Covenant Partner, Knox Presbyterian on November 7 for a Presbytery sponsored Dismantling Racism training session. Full cost $150 but for anyone needing to pay less there are subsidized costs of $30 and $75. Cost will not be a barrier for anyone who wishes to attend.
