Wednesday Evening Bible Study
We will begin on September 9 and meet at 6:00pm for a potluck dinner and meet until 8:00 PM at the church in the Waverly Room. All are welcome to join. We will start in September by reading through the Racial Justice book “Reckoning With History” by William Yoo, so we can participate in the Racial Justice Book discussion on September 30. Limited copies are available in the church office for $25.
Then we will turn to The Tears of Things: Prophetic Wisdom for an Age of Outrage by Richard Rohr. From the inside cover: “In his first major work since The Universal Christ, one of our most prominent spiritual voices offers a wholehearted and hope-filled model for the world today, grounded in the timeless wisdom of the Hebrew prophets.”
