Govans Presbyterian Annual Neighborhood Food Drive
Each year, we visit our neighbors and leave grocery bags on their porches, inviting them to fill the bags with non-perishable food. The following Saturday, we return to collect the filled bags and deliver them to the GEDCO food pantry. This drive is a wonderful opportunity to meet neighbors near the church, share information about our congregation, and provide much-needed food for the community.
Volunteers Needed:
- Wednesday, September 16, 3 pm, prepare bags and thank you letters
- Wednesday, September 16, 5 pm, distribute bags in the neighborhood
- Saturday, September 19, 10 am, collect filled bags and deliver to GEDCO
