Azalea City Recordings artist and award-winning songwriter Jesse Palidofsky brings his music to folk clubs and festivals, social justice rallies, hospitals, hospices and prisons. Jesse has performed his original songs at Hugh’s Room (Toronto), “On Your Radar” series in NYC, the National Theatre, for Samaritans in the Desert in Arizona, and on the sloop Clearwater with Pete Seeger. Jesse’s “I Am an Immigrant” won an Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting award from the Great American Songwriting Contest and reached #1 on the International Folk Radio charts. “Dancing Toward the Light ” reached #5 album. Jesse’s updated “America the Beautiful: 2024” with Claire Lynch and Lea Gilmore has received 74,000 views on YouTube. Jesse is also a Board Certified Chaplain who has accompanied hospice patients and children with cancer. Jesse co-founded the highly successful Carroll Café concert series in Washington, D.C as well as Compared To What! coffeehouse in his native Detroit, Michigan.
