Govans Earth Care Committee will be participating in Faith Climate Action Week, an annual initiative spearheaded by Interfaith Power & Light. It spans ten enlightening days around Earth Day, from April 19 to April 28, 2024. Govans will be hosting a screening of “Common Ground: Cultivating connections between Faith, Food and Climate”. This film explores how our food systems contribute to injustice and climate change while also delving into practical solutions that align with our faiths.
By joining us, you become an integral part of a dynamic community of faith-driven individuals dedicated to preaching, teaching, and actively working towards healing the climate in 2024.
Govans film screening will take place on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. in Sharp Hall, followed by a panel discussion of the film. We hope you will join us. Please register at the link above.
