Rev. David Harris, Working Group member, has been gathering oral histories of the church, focusing on racial justice issues in our recent history. Starting in the 1950s, and then accelerating in the 1960s, hear about, for instance, involvement (or lack thereof) in the struggle to integrate neighborhoods and public spaces. This was followed by ever increasing involvement in our diverse neighborhood. This includes the founding of our senior center and GEDCO, which provides affordable homes for elderly and others with special needs, and ultimately Stadium Place.
