Elizabeth (Betz) Connor has spent many years working with children and helping them build a strong foundation in learning, creativity, and music. She has over 20 years of experience directing and teaching preschool curriculum and elementary music, providing students with engaging, age-appropriate learning experience. She also has 30 years of continuous experience providing private piano instruction to beginning and intermediate students. Through this work, she has had the privilege of helping children and students build confidence, develop their musical abilities, and cultivate an appreciation for music.
Betz has a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. She also earned the 90-Hour Certification from the Child Care Career Institute in Gaithersburg, Maryland, further strengthening her knowledge and preparation in early childhood education.
In April 2021, Betz completed the Center Director Pre-Service Training, expanding her qualifications and preparation for leadership within an early childhood setting. Her years of experience in both education and music have given her a deep appreciation for the importance of nurturing the whole child. She believes that music, creativity, and a caring educational environment can have a lasting impact on a child’s development and confidence.
