Palm Sunday is known for its processional that starts on the Peace Terrace, as we wave our palms high and shout, “Hosanna!” Hosanna is an interesting word often used as a word of praise, but unlike Hallelujah or Amen, it is a calling out to God for help. The full use in scripture is Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the Highest! Join us as we “call forth” God into our midst and remember Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem through story, scripture, and song.
The Govans Chancel Choir, led by Marie Herrington, will present their special Palm Sunday choral presentation “This Is Now” during the service.

Easter | April 20

Join us for Easter Sunday, April 20! Experience the joy of the resurrection as we come together to sing Easter hymns, reflect on scripture, and offer prayers of gratitude.
Easter Egg Hunt and Petting Zoo following the service
After the service, join in the excitement as the Easter Bunny pays a visit, and delight in an Easter egg hunt and family-friendly activities on the church lawn. Plus, enjoy interactions with animals provided by Woodberry Crossing for a day of fun suitable for all ages.
