Matthew 25:35 “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in”
The new community fridge is now open!
The Baltimore Community Fridge Network built and installed a structure, a fridge and freezer, plus a pantry for our community to help feed hungry people around the clock. The fridge and pantry are located near the front of the church, accessible via York Rd. You can learn more about the Baltimore Community Fridge Network and it’s guidelines for giving at their FAQs.
We’ve already had much success in providing food for our neighbors. Thank you to the many Govans Presbyterian Church members and friends who have provided food.
Contribute to the fridge
Would you like to get involved? Please use this pledge form to help us anticipate the amount of help available. Use it to share how often you can contribute, how much food you can donate, to sign up to clean the fridge and check if any food needs to be tossed out. You can also sign up to pick up donations from restaurants in the future, or plan group cook.
