Rev. Billy Kluttz, MPA, Mdiv, (pronouns: he/him/his) focuses on member and community engagement, worship leadership, and youth and young families programming at Govans.
Prior to Govans, Billy served churches in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. As a student at Wesley Theological Seminary, Billy received the Interpretation Award for Excellence in Biblical Studies and the Bishop’s Award Scholarship. Billy is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree at Wesley with a focus on leadership.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, and country music. He is passionate about French-language ministry and is excited to continue multi-lingual ministry in Baltimore. Billy’s husband, Steven, is an internal medicine resident at Johns Hopkins. As two NC natives and UNC grads, Steven and Billy enjoy all things southern and are year-long Carolina fans. Steven and Billy share their Canton apartment with their dog, Banjo.
