Govans In The GLBT Pride Parade
Saturday, June 16
Govans will be participating in the Baltimore GLBT Pride Parade on Saturday, June 16, at 1 pm, to show the community that Govans Presbyterian is a welcoming congregation. We will be joining a group of other churches from various denominations that are welcoming and inclusive. We will be walking ten blocks from Charles & 33rd to Charles & 23rd.
Govans Garden Group
If you are interested in helping with our church vegetable garden and orchard, we invite you to join us. Vegetables and fruits grown on our campus support the CARES Food Pantry and the Govans Soul Kitchen. Weather permitting, the gardeners meet on Tuesday afternoons at 4:30 pm. For more information please contact Bonnie Thomson or the church office.
Fresh Produce On Its Way Again
We are supporting a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program through One Straw Farm. If you want to participate this year, here is a PDF about this year's program. Learn more about One Straw Farm at their website.
Bible Study at Broadmead
All are invited to a Bible Study that meets on Tuesday mornings at 10 AM in the Fireplace Room at Broadmead. For more information contact Pastor Randy or Sally-Lyn Duff.

Soul Kitchen is our free community meal!
We share a meal with 30-60 guests every Sunday night. Everyone is welcome to come and eat and/or volunteer to cook, serve or clean up! We start preparing the meal at 5pm and finish cleaning up by 8:15pm. Volunteers are welcome for all or part of the time - but we often need extra hands from 7-8:15pm.
