Saturday, June 16
Govans will be participating in the Baltimore GLBT Pride Parade on Saturday, June 16, at 1 pm, to show the community that Govans Presbyterian is a welcoming congregation. We will be joining a group of other churches from various denominations that are welcoming and inclusive. We will be walking ten blocks from Charles & 33rd to Charles & 23rd.

Govans Garden Group
If you are interested in helping with our church vegetable garden and orchard, we invite you to join us. Vegetables and fruits grown on our campus support the CARES Food Pantry and the Govans Soul Kitchen. Weather permitting, the gardeners meet on Tuesday afternoons at 4:30 pm. For more information please contact Bonnie Thomson or the church office.

Soul Kitchen is our free community meal!
We share a meal with 30-60 guests every Sunday night. Everyone is welcome to come and eat and/or volunteer to cook, serve or clean up! We start preparing the meal at 5pm and finish cleaning up by 8:15pm. Volunteers are welcome for all or part of the time - but we often need extra hands from 7-8:15pm.

Worship with us Sunday morning, get involved in mission, or contribute in another way. Govans Presbyterian Church is a More Light Congregation, and believes all people are welcome at God’s table, as Christ teaches us. We provide an open and affirming worship experience for the LGBT community.
