Please join us between the Sunday services in Sharp Hall.
Topics for Spring 2009 Adult Options:
To open March, on the 1st and 8th, Charles Forbes will be treating us to two weeks of fascinating Govans church history: stories, pictures, and 150 years of involvement in several of Baltimore’s neighbor-hoods. Who knows, maybe your confirmation photograph will be flashed on the screen!
Then on March 15, 22, and 29, Lisa Beacham and Mary Faith Ferretto will lead a three-week series on care giving and elderly care. One session will be a general discussion of elder care issues, providing background for a subsequent session in which a speaker from GEDCO will discuss “The Green House” skilled nursing care facility they are planning to build at Stadium Place.
In April, we begin a series on financial stress, what it means for us personally, for the community, and coping strategies. See you between services in Sharp Hall! For more info, see Ben Hobbs, bhobbs@jhu.edu
